Yurakucho Ginza canals Tokyo 1933

An aerial photo from 1933 of Tokyo’s Yurakucho and west Ginza areas. In addition to the canal that runs north-south in the middle of the photo, other key landmarks include:
– Sukiyabashi bridge 数寄屋橋
– Nichigeki Theater 日本劇場
– Former Asahi Shimbun HQ, Yurakucho 東京朝日新聞社
– Taimei Elementary School 中央区立泰明小学校
– Old Japan Post Building (now the KITTE mall next to Tokyo Station)
