Yurakucho Ginza Tokyo 1953 Godzilla premier

Aerial view of the area near Yurakucho Station, circa 1952. The canal in the photo is from the Edo-era, and was filled-in soon after. The white rounded building in the center is the old Nichigeki Theater (a Toho Cinema now occupies the upper floors of the new building). The bridge next to it is Sukiyabashi.
