Sing Young People Tokyo 1963 Ginza bridge old river scene

A still from the 1963 film, “Sing, Young People” 歌え若人達. Floating in the horizon are a number of advertising balloons (ad balloons). In the foreground, the open space is the Tsukiji River Ginza park 築地川銀座公園. The highway that runs under the park was completed in 1962; prior to then, the Tsukiji River 築地川 flowed through here.
